Responsibility

All of us have an obligation to protect the environment. Global concerns about waste disposal and landfill sites are increasing; reusable packaging is becoming the prime packaging objective of world governments and responsible corporations. Research made by the independent consultancy company Ramböll shows that the environmental impact of reusable Clip-Lok boxes from cradle to grave is less than that of comparative one-way packaging. By using Clip-Lok returnable boxes in your supply chain, you take responsibility and help bring about a greener society without compromising your standards. 

Global concerns

Clip-Lok is dedicated to protecting the environment by designing and manufacturing environmentally friendly plywood crates. We support a greener world; therefore we have chosen suppliers of wood materials who are certified by FSC and PEFC. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified; in this way consumers know that they come from forests managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. The aims of FCS and PEFC's are to ensure that the world's forests are managed sustainably and that their functions are protected. Besides using certified wood, we ensure that the material is glued with non-toxic glue and we also have the ISPM15 approval which is needed by companies who treat wood materials of a thickness greater than 6mm and which is used to ship products between countries. We use recyclable materials in a manner that minimises waste and avoids emissions of materials that may harm the environment. 

Durability

Despite pressure, vibration, impacts, stacking etc. our boxes can be used time and again – many plywood boxes are used more than a hundred times, and, by the help of customised loading plans and flat-packed returns, you reduce costs and pollution.
